Hello and welcome to my page and online store.
A huge thanks to all my supporters, friends, and family for making this happen. Let's get started with a deeper dive on who Stenny CL is.
BACKROUND:
To begin, as you may have seen, my actual name is Stephanie but I am starting to prefer the name Stenny as this has been an ongoing nickname since...well...ever, starting with my family (naturally) then with friends, and now it has become an official nickname.
My ethnicity is Cambodian, Vietnamese, and Chinese, but unfortunately I am not fluent in any of them. My mother immigrated from Cambodia during the Khmer Rouge and met my father in the US. I originally lived in Stockton, California up until 2019 where I then moved to Elk Grove with my Husband.
I am the youngest of four and was considered the spoiled one in the family. I cannot agree or disagree. I would say I am pretty equally close to all of them. Our humor as a collective can be a bit extreme and rowdy, but that's what I love about them.
ABOUT ME:
To put it plain and simple:
- I am pretty chill, a bit weird, and awkward person.
- I swear enough where a sailor will blush.
- I am told I am witty, which I can confidently say maybe.
- My way of speaking can be a bit too sarcastic where it can sound a little serious.
- I am a caring person and pretty selfless to a certain extent.
- I love to sing and dance, so take me out to a karaoke bar and we will sing the night away!
- I LOVE FOOD...I will be extremely sad if I drop my food on the ground.
- I enjoy listening to a variety of music genres such as metal, disco, EDM, trance, j-pop, k-pop, and j-rock to name a handful.
- I love to read whether it be regular books or manga/manhwa.
- the genre of books/manga/manhwa:
- Thriller
- Horror (I am okay with blood/gore)
- Weird
- Fiction
- Spicy (Like...REAL spicy meatball kind of spice)
- I enjoy watching movies.
- the genre of movies I lean more towards would be:
- Thriller
- Horror(Leaning more on Mindf*ck, less on blood and gore)
- Action
- Comedy/slapstick humor
- Corny
- I love doing arts and crafts...I mean that's the premise of Cat Night Crafts
Overall, I am just kind of open to do a lot of things and try new things food-wise
PETS:
I own four fur babies, a black medium hair cat named Max (about 11years now), a German Shepard/Husky mix named Dallas (about 9 years), and two grey tabby cats named Apollo and Maddie (Roughly 2.5months and 3 years).
We picked up Max at one of the adoption events through Petco when he was only a few months old. We originally wanted his sibling (a female orange tabby...this is prior to my knowledge of cats), but settled with him because of how calm he was in my hands. His name was already given to him, so we just kept it. If I were to describe his personality, it is of a typical cat. To himself, curious, and loveable...when he feels like it. When he wants attention, he REALLY wants attention. He likes to sunbathe and loves to cuddle when he feels like it.
As for Dallas, we got him through a mutual friend. At the time, I wanted another puppy within the same litter that looked just like him but he had blue eyes, thus the name Dallas. However, after learning how each of the puppies were when they were getting a bath, Dallas was the calmest out of the whole litter which I decided to take him home instead. Since owning him, he has been so wonderful, smart, and just a trouble maker. If I can describe his personality, is that of a very adventurous, nosy, constantly hungry, and a mama's boy. He has the coat of a husky as well as the stubbornness (ugh) but the smarts and colors of a German Shepard. Unfortunately, he became blind around year five due to some traumatic events but that has not stopped him from being the bubbly boy we know and love.
Apollo was kind of a impromptu cat that my neighbor had stumbled upon when I was coming home. She was trying to look for him within her bushes on her front lawn because she was hearing little meows, and I came in to help. After maybe about 15 minutes, we were able to catch him and I just ended up taking him in (not without a discussion with my husband). He is a big ball of energy and just loves to cuddle. Which brings to...
Maddie! She was also apart of the same company that we got Max from. My husband and I were grabbing stuff for Apollo and we (mainly me) went to go see the cats they had that were looking for homes. Maddie was the first we ever fell in love with after doing these little trips to the store. My husband states before that he would want a fluffy cat, that is female, and wanted to name her Maddie. Lo and behold, Maddie! Originally named Peri, but Maddie suited her better. She has only one eye but that does not stop her from being the most nosy and adventurous little girl we have. Max is still warming up to her, but Apollo just loves her to bits.
CONCLUSION:
I want to share that I appreciate you for taking the time to read this and that we can grow closer as a community!
